|March 15:||DSU distributes registration receipts and fair materials to all participating schools.|
Spanish fair starts at 9:00 a.m. in the SAC building on DSU’s main campus.
Please see this DSU Campus map for details.
The fair organizing committee has designed the competitive events around the principle of language proficiency as developed by the American Council on the Teaching of Foreign Languages (ACTFL). Teachers in each school will assess students and place them in one of four categories: beginners, intermediate, advanced or superior. Students will compete in their respective levels of proficiency against all students of the same level. It is up to the teachers to properly place students, so students will not face unsurmountable odds or discourage the competition of other students.
Please return to this page on February 15, to register for the Spanish Fair.
Registration opens on February 15, 2017.
Fee: $5.00 per student.
Teacher registration guidelines:
- Decide which students will participate in the fair from your school.
- Determine which level your students should participate in: beginner, intermediate, or advanced.
