April 5 Spanish fair starts at 9:00 am in the Gardner building Ballroom on UT’s main campus.

Participants

The fair organizing committee has designed the competitive events around the principle of language proficiency as developed by the American Council on the Teaching of Foreign Languages (ACTFL). Teachers in each school will assess students and place them in one of three categories: beginners, intermediate, and advanced superior. Students will compete in their respective levels of proficiency against all students of the same level. It is up to the teachers to properly place students, so students will not face insurmountable odds or discourage the competition of other students
