What is Humanities and Philosophy?

Humanities and Philosophy are the academic disciplines that study how people process and document the human experience.  Since humans have been able, we have used philosophy, literature, religion, art, music, history, and language to understand and record our world.  Humanities and Philosophy courses study these creative products using time-tested methods of inquiry--dialogue, historical and logical analysis, critical interpretation, and scholarly investigation.
